Metamorphosis #9 is our closing rite for 2025—a Year 9 in numerology, where we experience endings and new beginnings. We are gathering to dance and embody completion and initiation into a new cycle. We gather to embody the transition(s) that we are all going through, each one of us individually in this creative collective capacity. Come as you are; bring your heart and your willingness to move on!

The event will start with an introduction and a short guided meditation led by Paz to connect to the intention of this important moment in time. Cameron Mattice will lead us through a Qi Gong sequence to warm up and come into our bodies. Madeline Wood will prepare and create a cacao activation that we will drink (optional) prior to this special dance conducted by the talented Toronto-based DJ, musician and producer Kudos Lokey who will lead us through a rich and immersive sonic journey for us to move into this metamorphosis. At the end of the DJ set, Paz will guide us into a final integration and restoration with a short meditation. We’ll close in circle, seal what’s complete, and step together toward a new chapter that’s already calling.

When you arrive, you will be asked to remove your outdoor shoes. Bring indoor shoes if that is more comfortable for you.

Reminder that this is a focused experience where we are going to keep silence until the end, which allows for deeper reflection, processing and introspection as this is an experience and gift from you to you 🩵 

Social time will happen once the event is over for those who want to stay and connect in that capacity, for those who want to take their inward journey and leave right away, or at anytime, that is also acceptable. There are no strict expectations but ideally everyone should arrive at 1:50 pm and expect to start 10-15 after that, and experience the full duration of this rich event.

Known for his intoxicating fusion of bass music, global rhythms, and psychedelic textures, Kudos LoKey invites listeners into an immersive experience of sound, movement, and prayer.

The alter-ego of veteran producer and engineer Snappy Homefry, Kudos LoKey was born from decades of sound exploration in Toronto’s vibrant underground. Drawing inspirations from his city’s multicultural heartbeat and years of global travel, Kudos weaves a tapestry of diverse influences into what he calls “50 Shades of Bass”,  a sensual kaleidoscope with boundless expression in the vast language of Bass Music.

As a sound sorcerer, Kudos crafts music to awaken our cosmic hearts and remind us of sound’s primordial medicine. His performances are ceremonies of movement and connection, where dance becomes devotion and bass becomes breath.

With over 25 years in the music industry, Snappy has engineered and produced for an eclectic mix of artists in genres spanning Reggae, Latin, Folk, and Techno from his renowned Playhouse Studio in Toronto. Since stepping onto the scene as Kudos LoKey in 2019, he’s shared stages with Desert Dwellers, The Human Experience, Andreilien, Adham Shaikh, Soohan, Dubmatix, and Michael Red, and has electrified audiences at festivals such as Beloved, Lucidity, Harvest, Future Forest, Valhalla, Eclipse, Evolve, and Sonic Springs.

Kudos LoKey’s sonic evolution continues with releases on Gravitas Recordings and High Vibe Records, alongside official remixes for Skysia, Morillo, DTO, Dubmatix, Mr. Ours (France), and Tyr Kohout. Every set is an invocation — a reminder that music is ancient medicine, and the dance floor is where we pray with our bodies.
