A free, two-hour workshop exploring poetry and labour.
Poetry is work, because to write or make anything takes labour. Yet poetry often rejects capitalist systems of value. Poetry is equally unproductive, leisurely, playful.
As part of the workshop, we'll read some poems, share ideas, and complete some writing exercises. They'll be a chance to share your work but never any pressure to do so! Writers of all levels of experience welcome.
Please bring a notebook and pen/pencil or laptop, whatever you're comfortable writing with (we'll have spare pens on hand).
The space is fully wheelchair accessible with gender neutral toilets. Full accessibility information can be found online here: feministlibrary.co.uk/accessibility/
