everything is a poem: on exploded forms and poetic experience

A free, two-hour workshop exploring non-written forms of poetic experience.

In this workshop, we'll think about poems as experiences or moments which exist outside of language and which we then translate into text. We'll ask what is lost and gained in this translation.

we'll read some poems, share ideas, and practice some embodied and written exercises. They'll be a chance to share your work but never any pressure to do so! Writers of all levels of experience welcome.

Please bring a notebook and pen/pencil or laptop, whatever you're comfortable writing with (we'll have spare pens on hand). Also bring headphones/earphones and a way to listen to music, if possible.
