the tinder of a broken heart: on the poetic possibilities of heartbreak

At this free, two-hour workshop, we'll explore the poetry of heartbreak, heartbreak as a generative creative and political force, heartbreak as the opposite of apathy.

As always, we'll read some poems, share ideas, and complete some writing exercises. There'll be a chance to share your work but never any pressure to do so! Writers of all levels of experience welcome.

Please bring a notebook and pen/pencil or laptop, whatever you're comfortable writing with (we'll have spare pens on hand).
