The Virtual Online Rediscovery Retrouvaille Weekend Program may be just what your marriage needs! Spend a weekend focusing on your marriage and learn how to reconnect with each other in the privacy of your own home. Rediscovery Retrouvaille is a marriage program that teaches a way to communicate with your spouse on a feeling level. It will provide encouragement, hope, and practical tools to help rebuild your marriage. You will listen to engaging talks from married couples, just like you, that have navigated the path of reconnecting a disconnected marriage. Then, you privately share guided exercises that allow you to practically apply the concepts you have learned. The program is centered around a powerful communication tool that will help you to stay connected for years to come!

The program begins Thursday evening from 7:00 pm -9:30 pm Eastern Time; Saturday from 8:30 am – 9:30 pm; and concludes Sunday from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. There are ample breaks and meal times allotted to break up the day. A complete schedule, program materials, and workbooks will be sent to you prior to the weekend.

Rediscovery Retrouvaille (pronounced Retro-vi with a long i) is a non-profit ministry and program costs are affordable. Most Rediscovery Retrouvaille Weekends are held in hotels or retreat centers and have a registration deposit of $450-$700, depending on the venue. The Virtual Online Weekend Program is offered for only $149 per couple, which is a considerable savings since there are no added costs for meals and accommodations as you can participate in the full program from the privacy of your own home. A voluntary donation will be asked for at the end of the weekend to cover program costs and no couple is ever turned away due to financial reasons and scholarships are available.

Most couples live in the misery of a struggling marriage for nearly six years before seeking help. Some couples turn to counseling for answers, often with no resolve. Rediscover: The Rediscovery Retrouvaille Weekend
The program begins with a weekend experience in which you learn an important process to re-establish communication and to gain new insights into yourself as an individual and as a couple. This part of the program is presented by three couples and a priest. The presenting team has experienced disillusionment, pain, and conflict in their own lives and offer hope as they share their personal struggles of reconciliation and healing. You and your spouse will find courage and strength in the realization that you are not alone in your struggle. You will not be asked to share your problems with anyone, however, you will be encouraged to put the past behind you and to look beyond the hurt and pain, to rediscover each other in a new and positive way. The Rediscovery Retrouvaille Weekend provides tools to help you with communication, forgiveness, and trust. It teaches a dialogue process of meaningful communication.

Rebuild: Post-Weekend Marriage Blueprint Talk Series
A series of follow-up presentations after the weekend is the next important phase of the Rediscovery Retrouvaille healing process. The hurt and pain of a struggling marriage cannot be healed in a single weekend experience, though it is a positive start. The Post-weekend talk series include a series of 2-hour talks by additional couples that expand on the Weekend concepts. The Marriage Blueprint talk sessions are offered, over a 6-week period, featuring two talks on Sunday afternoons. Most couples, without a doubt, find this to be one of the most productive components of the program and where the most growth occurs, as you are able to take the time to put your new communication tools into practice.  This is offered as a bonus and is included in the registration fee for the Virtual Weekend.

Reconnect: Monthly Support (CORE)
The third phase is a monthly small-group enrichment meeting, called CORE (Couples Reconnected). It allows for a casual and supportive interaction with other couples who have attended the Rediscovery Retrouvaille program. This monthly meeting continues to reinforce the communication tools learned on the weekend and allows couples to form strong and lasting bonds online each month.

Renew: Marriage and Spiritual Enrichment Programs
The Marriage Rediscovery family of couple support ministries offers ongoing marriage and spiritual enrichment programs. These include Rediscovery 2.0 Couple Faith Formation Retreats, an annual Rediscovery at Sea Marriage Enrichment cruise, and Marriage on a Mission spiritual pilgrimage trips for couples, allowing you to continue to grow and thrive. 1. How do we get our retreat materials?
All materials are mailed to you in advance so you’ll have everything you need before the weekend begins. Please register early to allow time for shipping.  If you register within 5 days of the start of the weekend, a weekend package will be emailed to you and the follow up materials mailed.

2. How is the weekend scheduled?
The retreat follows a structured schedule with plenty of breaks built in. Bathroom and meal breaks are factored into the program, and you’ll receive a detailed schedule ahead of time so you can plan accordingly.

3. What about meals?
We recommend having meals in your own home during the weekend. Keeping meals simple and planned ahead of time will help you stay focused and engaged with each other.

4. What do we do about our kids?
This is a fully engaged event. For the retreat to be effective, both spouses need to be free from distractions. We strongly recommend arranging childcare outside the home or having children stay with family or friends. Small children, especially, can be very distracting and limit your ability to participate meaningfully.

5. Do we have to share our problems with other couples?
No. The entire program is private and confidential. You’ll hear talks from couples who have struggled and found healing, but all of your sharing and exercises are done only between you and your spouse.

6. What if we’re separated or nearly divorced—can we still attend?
Yes. Many couples come to Rediscovery Retrouvaille at their breaking point. Whether you’re struggling, separated, or considering divorce, this weekend offers hope and tools to reconnect.

7. How much does it cost?
The Rediscovery Retrouvaille Weekend is a nonprofit ministry program. The cost is kept extremely affordable and the $149 registration if feasible for most couples. A donation to cover the full cost of the program will be asked for on Sunday and is voluntary.  Program discounts are available for active duty military, veterans, teachers, and first responders including fire, law enforcement, emergency, and medical personnel.  Please enter the code HERO for a 10% discount.

8. Do we need special technology to participate?
You will need a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone (computer, tablet, or smartphone), and a quiet private space where you can be together without interruptions.  The program is hosted on the Zoom platform and it is helpful to download prior to signing onto the meeting.

9. What if we can’t attend every session?
The weekend is designed as a complete experience. To gain the most benefit, both spouses must commit to attending the entire retreat. If your schedule won’t allow full participation, we encourage you to consider the next available weekend.

10. What happens after the weekend?
The weekend is just the beginning. You’ll be invited to attend a six-week follow-up talk series online, and then join monthly small-group CORE (Couples Reconnecting) enrichment sessions, all included in your registration fee. These provide ongoing support and help reinforce the tools you learned.

11. What is the weekend schedule?  Can we participate if we are not in the Eastern time zone?
The weekend schedule is as follows:
