Join Revels North as we kick off our Spring Season with this very special concert featuring guest performer, Nowell Sing We Clear's Andy Davis, along with Revels North Artistic Director Alex Cumming and the Spring Chorale workshop singers. The concert program will feature a magical blend of traditional and modern folk songs celebrating the coming of Spring and the blessings of community. In true Revels fashion there will be everything from stunningly beautiful ballads and story songs to foot stomping melodies and plenty of audience participation.

Doors will open at 6.30pm and music kicks off at 7pm and will run until 9pm with a small intermission.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale, please pay what you can afford.

More about Andy Davis:

Andy Davis plays accordion, piano and banjo, as well as calling dances. Andy taught music for 32 in Windham County Vermont, helped create New England Dancing Masters—publishers of traditional dance books and recordings—and performed with Nowell Sing We Clear for many years. Andy has appeared as a dance musician, leading dance and song at many well-known traditional music and dance camps throughout the United States.

Andy’s songs are inspired by local stories, American history, dear friends, farmers, pub singers, dance callers, sailors on the high seas, political turmoil and environmental concerns. Anecdotes from his years of teaching music have found their way into these songs that reflect on life in New England – and beyond.
