John and Paul: Newer than Ever (Rhino Fest at Facility Theatre)
Multiple dates and times
Facility Theatre, 60622
Description
For the third time in history, John and Paul showcase their trademark mix of sophistry and slapstick in "Newer Than Ever", their mostly-new comedy show. This time, the hapless duo catapult themselves into the age of market optimization and demographic trendiness under the guiding hand of their mysterious new benefactor, teenage wunderkind Jannik Torvald. John and Paul aren't returning by popular demand; they're just adhering to it.
Venue Notes: Facility Theatre is located at 1138 N California Ave, just south of Division in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. Street parking is usually possible nearby, and the California and Division buses also stop in proximity to the building. Facility is a first-floor space with an accessible entrance. There is one bathroom, which is small and not accessible by wheelchair. Beverages will be available at a concession stand before performances.
Note: The Puerto Rican Festival will take place one block north in Humboldt Park on June 8-11. This will make the neighborhood more crowded and lively than usual! Parking may be a challenge; please budget extra time if you are seeing shows during this period.
