General Practicum Info Session for all CIACC/LCD/WCD/PCD/PIND Students & Especially 5th Semester Students

About this event

All Rhodes Diploma programs involve a practicum component that is scheduled after all courses occur and at the tail end of their program. Join us to learn about the important details regarding finding practicum, preparing for practicum, completing hours, and how to transition from student status to graduated status after your practicum. 

We will address the following topics:

• Purpose of practicum
• Unpaid practicum hours and time frame
• Available and possible practicum placement options
• Expectations of the student, the practicum host, and the college
• Your questions and curiosities

Registration is required and closes 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. A Zoom link will be emailed to all registrants at four different times; after registration, 3 days prior, 1 day prior, and 10 minutes prior to the start of each session.

WHO CAN ATTEND:

• All Rhodes students that are enrolled into a full-time LCD/WCD/PCD/PIND program and can be at any point in their program. (This content may not be directly applicable to RMT students).
• All Rhodes students that are enrolled into a certificate program that has a practicum component (CIACC).
• All Rhodes students that are not enrolled into a diploma program and are curious about practicum.
