The Countrymen

It’s difficult to find a musical genre that would fully describe The Countrymen but Cornish Folk Rock Harmony is close.

Five seasoned musicians with tight four-part harmony vocals and light-hearted presentation style we take the audience on a journey through the history and culture of Cornwall, featuring our own arrangements of traditional and contemporary songs, as well as an increasing amount of our own compositions. 

We have been fortunate to have performed at some great festivals including Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival, Looe Saves The Day, Little Orchard Cider Festival, Falmouth Oyster Festival, Falmouth Week and headlining at Bridport Folk Festival. More recently we’ve made the live heats for Glastonbury’s Pilton Stage and have been invited to perform at Bie Daip in Appingedam, The Netherlands, Europe’s largest folk and seas song festival.

Interspersed with the occasional pop cover to lighten the mood when required, there is no mistaking that to a man, we love our county with a passion.
