Beginner Music for Adults
GIVE IT A GO! Thursdays 2pm Carrick on Shannon
Suitable for adults that have little or no experience playing music
Join us for a relaxed four-week introduction to music, with one fun, informal hour each week exploring songs, Irish music and the basics of playing together.
We’ll learn simple tunes, rhythms and chords, build confidence and have a bit of a sing and a play along the way. No tests, no pressure and no need to be “musical” — just good craic and a chance to enjoy making music.
Already have an instrument? Bring it along! Whether it’s a guitar, tin whistle, ukulele, fiddle, keyboard or something completely different, you’re very welcome.
The focus will be mainly on Irish music with some country, western and sing song tunes as well.
