Baby Music Training – 1 Day

Learn how to use music, singing, movement and play to connect with babies and support their development.

This practical one-day training is for anyone who wants to feel more confident using music with babies — whether you're a parent, grandparent, teacher, childcare professional, therapist, carer or family member.

It’s especially useful for anyone already running baby or parent-and-baby classes who wants fresh ideas, a structured repertoire and a better understanding of why these activities work.

🎵 What you'll learn

We’ll spend the day singing, moving, playing and practising The Rhythm Room collection of baby songs and activities, while exploring how they can support:

• 👂 Listening and attention
• 🤝 Connection and bonding
• 👐 Fine and gross motor skills
• 🎶 Rhythm, musical awareness and response
• 😊 Social interaction and emotional development

You’ll learn how to use the activities, when to use them and why they are beneficial, rather than simply being given a list of songs.

📖 What you get

Everyone attending receives a Baby Music Training booklet from The Rhythm Room, containing the specially selected songs and activities covered during the day.

You’ll leave with a practical resource that you can take away and use immediately — whether that’s at home, in your classroom, therapy practice, childcare setting or baby music group.

🎓 Your trainer

The course is delivered by Kristina, a fully qualified music teacher with experience across early-years and music education.

Her training includes Kindermusik, Orff and Suzuki, with elements of all three approaches incorporated into the course.

No musical qualifications or previous experience are required. You don't need to be a great singer — just be ready to have a go!
