Tree Planting @ Cow Ark, Clitheroe

Come join us on Saturday 8th March for a casual tree planting session at Cow Ark, Clitheroe

Event Description: We will be planting trees using hand tools such as spades and lump hammers under the instruction of RRT staff. Our staff will be working from approx.10:15am to 2:45pm, however volunteers can stay for as long or short as they like. We will also be stopping for a break and a lunch during the session.

Location: We will be meeting at Heidelberg Materials before driving to the planting site, either in RRT vehicles or carsharing. If making your own way to site, access gate to the planting area: What3Words: adhesive.range.brother 

Please note there is limited roadside parking, which is why we recommend meeting at Heidelberg to carshare and keep roadside parking to a minimum.

Important Info: Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, as well as suitable footwear like walking boots, walking trainers, or wellies. You will also need to bring a packed lunch and water bottle, however we will be providing biscuits, tea, and coffee for everyone. In the event of extreme weather, the event will be cancelled and you will be notified via email, so long as you have provided this info when booking onto the event.

Difficulty: Access to the planting site is mainly flat and easy to traverse.
