Come join us on the 25th March for a guided walk around Downham and Worston.
Event Description: Join us for a 4.7-mile walk starting from Downham. The route will pass through fields and along Worston Brook, providing a chance to enjoy the local scenery. During the walk, we'll visit our work on our EA Natural Flood Management site.
Location: We will be meeting at the Downham Village Car Park, BB7 4BS. The what3words location is paddlers.completed.meant and grid reference SD 78501 44084. We will be setting off promptly at 10am and will finish by at the latest of 1:30 pm.
Difficulty: This walk will take approximately 3 hrs, and we will break to take photos and talk about key points of the project. The route is fairly flat and easy to traverse. We will be going through fields and over styles, and the paths can be very muddy, so attendees will need to have reasonable mobility and walking boots are recommended. Due to live stock in fields we are asking for no dogs.
