Himalayan Balsam Pulling @ Tawd Valley Park

Join us as we join forces with Friends of Tawd Valley and the WLBC Ranger Service as we battle against the tenacious Himalayan Balsam plant that blights our green spaces! 

Activity, Green: We will be pulling Himalayan Balsam in Tawd Valley Park, so please wear suitable gloves, long sleeve tops and pants to help prevent getting stung by nettles and brambles.

Site, Amber: Good access, but with some overgrown areas and uneven ground. We will be working near water also. Please note that because we will be working on some uneven ground, please wear appropriate footwear - boots or wellies.

Please note that parking its very limited on the small, grass covered parking area and surrounding side roads. If you can walk or get public transport to the event, this would be helpful in keeping vehicle numbers low.
