Come join us on Monday 13th July for the second stage of the Hodder Way! 

Event Description:  Join Ribble Rivers Trust on the second stage of a series of point to point guided walks to complete the Hodder Way! In the second stage will be from Higher Hodder Bridge to Whitewell, were we will be walking through rolling hills of farmland and along the river Hodder into Whitewell. 

Location: We will be meeting at The Inn At Whitewell, BB7 3AT. The what3words location is remark.dummy.knitted and grid reference SD 65911 46881, if possible please car share. We will be getting a minibus promptly at 9:30 am to arrive in at Higher Hodder Bridge before 10 am to begin our walk. 

Difficulty:  7.5 mi (12 km) | 894 ft (272 m) ascent - This walk will take approximately 4.5 hrs and is moderately difficult with sections of incline and decline throughout the day as we cover farmland and river tracks.

What to bring: Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, as well as suitable footwear such as walking boots or walking trainers. To help reduce the risk of bites, cuts and stings we also ask attendees to wear long sleeved tops and trousers. Please also bring lunch as we will stop to refuel along the way.

Important information: To help cover the costs to run the event, we are asking for a contribution of £15 per person for the event. Once you have signed up, you will receive all of this information in a handy email. It also means we have all of your contact details so that, in the rare event that we have to cancel the event, we will be able to notify you via email.

Facilities: Toilets are available at the Inn of Whitewell, however please note this will not be open at the start of the walk.
