Himalayan Balsam Pulling @ Worston Brook

Join us in our balsam pulling activity at Worston Brook.

Activity, balsam pulling: We will be using our hands and/or weed slashers to control the balsam at the edges of Worston Brook, so please wear long sleeve tops and pants to help prevent getting pricked by thorns.

Site, Amber: Good access. Please note that because we will be working on some uneven ground and in and near water also, to please wear wellies. Waders would be even better, if you have a pair.

Parking: Parking is on the Calf's Head pub car park, but spaces are limited, so please car share if you can. Please also be mindful not to block access to both patrons and/or residents of Worston.

Facilities: No toilets available on site. The pub does have toilets, but please ask the owner if you can use them before doing so.
