Join us in the scourge against the litter that blights our green spaces!
Activity, Litter-pick: We will be using litter-pickers and bags to collect the litter along the banks and in the water of Liggard Brook at Queen Elizabeth II Park, Lytham.
Difficulty: Good access to banking, but some areas are overgrown and have uneven ground. We will be working in and near water also. Please note that because we will be working on some uneven ground and in water to please wear appropriate footwear - Boots or wellies.
We will need some volunteers who will be confident enough to enter the water, so if you think that may be you, please bring your WADERS!
Parking/Meeting Location: Parking is available at Ballam Road Car Park (Lytham Saint Annes FY8 4LE), we will meet here.
The what3words address of the meeting point is workbook.relate.immediate the grid reference is SD 36649 27699. By typing the what3words address into the what3words website or app, you can get directions to the exact location. What to bring: Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, as well as suitable footwear like waders, walking boots, walking trainers, or wellies.
