Coarse Fishing Meet Up
We are holding a coarse fishing event at Gatenby. All members are welcome. Juniors under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (the adult does no need to be a member but will require a day permit if fishing).
This is an opportunity to meet other people and exchange information and ideas. For anyone starting out or relatively new to coarse fishing or more experienced anglers who want to listen in, Richard Bedder will present:
1. Mastering stick float fishing.
2. Winter Chub fishing.
3. Barbel fishing.
We will meet at the entrance to the beat at 9.00 am then move to the river. There will be introductions and discussion prior to Richard sharing his knowledge those who have come to learn. We will then either pair up or spread out individually to explore the beat and see if we can catch some fish.
There may be scope to run a competition if there is enough interest.
In dry conditions you can drive your car along the embankment and park close to where you are fishing. See photo below of the track to the river.
Please book a place if you would like to join us. Click "Select Tickets"
