Richmond Cricket Club is delighted to offer three weeks of Easter Cricket Camps for players aged 4 years - 15 years old, in readiness for the start of the new season. We operate both hard ball and soft ball training and welcome girls and boys of all abilities.

During the camps we will cover all aspects of cricket (see below) and with the use of our bowling machines and plenty of coaching aids, your child will gain some valuable tips to make it a beneficial camp for all.

In the last few years we have made sure these camps are very important for your child's development. In return we would like them to firstly enjoy themselves, but also work hard and respect their colleagues and coaches.

- Warm up games.

- Fielding drills and competitions.

- Bowling and batting drills.

- Nets and net test matches

- Grass Nets

- One day and T20 format, covering different options with bat and ball. Developing new shots and deliveries.

- Outfield matches.

- Centre wicket nets

TIMING: The camps will run 09:00 - 15:00 (full day) with the option to do half a day (09:00 - 11:30) or (12:30 - 15:00).

Week 1 - Monday 30th March - Thursday 2nd April (4 days) No camp Good Friday.

Week 2 - Tuesday 7th April - Friday 10th April (4 days) No camp Easter Monday.

Week 3 - Monday 13th April - Friday 17th April (5 days)

PRIVATE COACHING SESSIONS with Adam and his team - Before Camp 8.00am - 9:00am or After Camp 3:30pm - 6:30pm. (Half hour or 1 hour slots) - Please book any sessions with Adam on doc.richmondcricketclub@gmail.com or 07507884882

SIGN IN/SIGN OUT - Hard ball players to sign in and out by the cricket nets. Soft Ball players to sign in and out at the main scoreboard next to the pavilion.

COACHES - We will be in Richmond Cricket Club top/shirts so please look out for us when you arrive and we will direct you in the right direction so you know exactly where to go.

Hard Ball Kit - Players should bring their own cricket kit. If you don't have hard ball kit but want to play hard ball then boys must have their own box and box briefs. A local cricket or sports shop will sell them. We do have some kit to go around but the box is essential. Please also wear suitable sports clothing.

SOFT BALL PLAYERS - Soft ball players do not need to bring any cricket equipment as we have everything they will need. They are more than welcome to bring their own cricket bat if that is a preference.

LUNCH AND SNACKS - Players should bring their own food and drink and we recommend a snack for morning and afternoon break. The bar is open all day and all week, but the canteen will only be open WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS & FRIDAYS so please make sure your child has some money to purchase a drink and food if needed. There will be a Kids menu which can be ordered at morning break. PLAYERS MAY NOT LEAVE THE SITE AT LUNCHTIME BY THEMSELVES.

WET WEATHER PLAN. The club house has rooms available to either play some soft ball games or watch TV. If the weather is really bad and doesn't look like we will get any play in, we will still offer the childcare for the full day.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS. If you are booking for more than one child, then please let us know and we will provide you with a sibling discount code. We require separate bookings for each child so we have all the required information.

The camps have been a great success over the years and we can't wait to get started again in 2026.

We look forward to welcoming your child onto the cricket camps and them leaving with a smile on their faces :)
