Saturday 5pm at St Agatha's Easby: The Keld in Concert
Enjoy a varied set of traditional and contemporary tunes, as well as their own compositions from The Keld:  a new collaboration between three young folk musicians from diverse musical backgrounds combining melodeon, mandolins, bouzouki and fiddle. The Keld are:

  • Edie Heringman - an octave mandola player from Richmond, Edie's style has developed from a diverse range of influences, including the English folk and
Balfolk traditions, as well as her studies in ethnomusicology at SOAS University of London. Her repertoire comprises her own compositions, along with traditional music, and the compositions of other folk musicians.
  • Elye Cuthbertson - Elye is bringing a new sound to the folk scene with his unique approach to the melodeon. Elye has been immersing himself in English folk music for 10 years under the guidance of some of the finest teachers of the tradition. Combining this English folk experience with his passion for Balfolk and other traditions from throughout Europe, his compositions reflect his varied influences. Elye’s skill and inventiveness has been demonstrated through performances around the country, including his own concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
  • Laura Sutcliffe - a folk musician, writer and artist based in North Yorkshire. Her work is centred on human-landscape connection, biodiversity and neurodiversity and is explored through collections, performances, improvisations and community projects.
