How can we live the Reiki principles, for our highest good, our highest potential, as a way of showing gratitude to every living thing? How to be Reiki?
Since the time Mrs Hawayo Takata started travelling to teach, Reiki has spread around the world. We invite you to join our global Reiki circle which includes treatment time and Rick sharing a reflection on an aspect of living life. The topic each month will be informed by Reiki and what is presenting in the moment. This reflection allows the space for each of us to pause, reflect on our own lives and gain strength and inspiration to continue taking the next steps guided by Reiki.
Our treatment time includes sending Reiki to each other, our families, and communities. The circle holds space for each person to add in their individual intentions so that we can send to all intentions collectively as a gift to the world. In our circle we reach out into the world with Reiki, bringing more healing, peace, gratitude, and love. Our Reiki practice guides us in caring for our Earth and living in peace and harmony for the highest good of all.
All are welcome. We are strengthened through being in circle together.
We meet the last Wednesday of each month (except August and December) at 9:00 PST to align with Rick’s time zone. For most of the year (except for a couple of weeks at each time change) the circle will be at –
Vancouver PST – 9:00; New York EST – 12:00;
London GMT – 17:00; Brussels CET – 18:00; Bucharest EEST – 19:00
Tickets have three prices to facilitate an exchange of energy that is individually affordable -£10, £20, £30. This recognises that Rick, as an elder in our community, is making himself available to help us move into a deeper understanding of living a Reiki life. If this is a barrier to attendance please get in touch with Grainne.
Rick Bockner was the last Reiki Master initiated by Hawayo Takata in 1980 and is one of only two of the twenty-two masters that she initiated still living, as far as we know. Rick is an accomplished musician, woodworker, tree planter and gardener as well as a Reiki Master. He lives a life dedicated to living in harmony with Earth in his home on Cortes Island on the west coast of Canada. Although he loves being in person with the Reiki community he travels less now and is happy to be with us online. His encouragement is to remember the importance of being physically together and welcomes small in-person circles connecting globally in a larger circle.
Grainne Warner is an Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master introduced to Reiki in 2000 and initiated as a Reiki Master by Tripuri Dunne, in Wanja Twan’s lineage in 2006. She has devoted many years to building and being in community and works with the UK Reiki Association, Reiki Home and the Reiki Alliance.
