This year the C.F.D. Moule Memorial Lecture will be delivered by our new Principal, Revd Dr Isabelle Hamley.
Moule Day 2024 will be held this year on Wednesday June 12th. This will be a smaller scale event, with the community at Ridley Hall joined by invited guests and supporters. If you have received an email with a link to this page, we are specifically inviting you to join us for the event, and a chance to hear from, and meet our new Principal, Revd Dr Isabelle Hamley who will be delivering the 17th C. F. D. Moule Memorial lecture. The annual lecture is part of a day of fellowship for Ridley alumni and supporters - affectionately known as "Moule Day" after the late much-loved C.F.D. "Charlie" Moule, former Vice-Principal of Ridley Hall.

About the speaker
Isabelle Hamley is Anglican priest, theologian, writer and broadcaster. She was formerly Secretary for Theology and Theological Adviser to the House of Bishops in the Church of England and took up her new role as Principal of Ridley Hall in April 2024.
Isabelle has previously held posts as a parish priest, tutor in Biblical Studies and Practical Theology and university chaplain. Her research interests focus on the Old Testament and questions of identity, gender and violence, as well as trauma and mental health. Her books include God of Justice and Mercy: A Theological Commentary on the Book of Judges, Embracing Justice, and, together with C. C. Cook, The Bible and Mental Health.
Tickets
Tickets for the day, which include Afternoon Tea prepared by our Executive Head Chef Howard Milton and his team, cost £20 per person. Any profit from this event, together with voluntary donations will go to the Ridley Hall Chapel Fund. Click the 'BUY TICKETS' button to purchase your ticket now. Parking
Car parking is very restricted at Ridley, and we are unfortunately not able to offer parking on the day to non-permit holders. We recommend using Cambridge's excellent Park & Ride service. For more information on this and off-site parking, see our Parking page. If you have mobility issues and would like to request one of a limited number of disabled parking places on site, there will be an opportunity to do this during checkout when you buy tickets. Please note that a place cannot be guaranteed but we will contact you to confirm before the day.
Cancellations Policy
In the event of cancellation of the event by Ridley Hall: We reserve the right to cancel the event in the event of circumstances beyond our control that result in us having to cancel it. In the case of any such cancellation, we will inform all ticket purchases and refund the cost of tickets in full.
Ticket holder cancellations prior to one week before the event date: For cancellations up to one week before the event, you are welcome to transfer your ticket(s) to someone else or to request a full refund. Please contact us prior to a week before the event date to inform us of your cancellation, including any changes to noted special dietary requirements if you are transferring your ticket to someone else.
Ticket holder cancellations before the day and up to one week before the event date: Due to costs incurred in preparations for the event, we are unfortunately not able to offer full refunds for tickets cancelled during the week preceding the event. You are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Please ensure that you notify Ridley Hall of any such transfer. If the new ticketholder has any special dietary requirements, please inform us and we will do our utmost to cater accordingly. Alternatively, you may request a 50% refund, provided you notify us of the cancellation before the day of the event.
Ticket holder cancellations on the day of the event: Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any refund for tickets cancelled on the day of the event. However, you are welcome to transfer your ticket(s) to someone else. Please notify Ridley Hall of any such transfer, including the name(s) of the new ticket holder(s).
