RtG Drop-In Open Garden Session 4: R-Urban Poplar

Have you ever wanted to join a community garden but not sure where to start? Are you interested in growing your own food and supporting healthy ecosystems in Tower Hamlets?

We will be hosting a drop-in open gardening session at R-Urban Poplar. An opportunity to get your hands in the soil, support a local community garden, learn new skills and hear more about what a Right to Grow could mean for you and the borough.

R-Urban is an eco-civic hub sprouting at the edge of the Teviot Estate in Poplar, London. The space cultivates civic resilience to climate change through workshops, events, and hands-on projects in just food systems, circularity, and repair. Join Katrina, R-Urban's head gardener for an afternoon of caring for the growing space while learning practical green skills such as sowing, harvesting, composting, no dig gardening, and seasonal growing. Drop in, get involved, and spend time connecting with others through community gardening. No experience needed

Children are welcome and adults will need to remain with children under 8 at all times. Dogs on leads are also welcome.
