The Fairy Tale Monologues--An Original New Musical

"The Fairy Tale Monologues" strips back the Grimm's Fairy Tales to the real women behind the stories in this original new feminist musical by three time award winning playwright and composer Sarah Alida LeClair. Winner of the Most Outstanding Premiere at the World Congress and San Diego International Fringe Festival 2026, "The Fairy Tale Monologues" combines the stories of a queer princess looking for a way out, a vigilante prince unsure what his life should look like, a witch looking for love, a wife seeking her own happiness, a sunflower loving baker on a quest, and a curious child with lush, romantic original music and quirky humor overlaying a raw, emotional journey.
