"The Martian", by critically acclaimed, award winning San Diego playwright Sarah LeClair, is a supernatural thriller about a mysterious entity that takes the shape of the faces of the dead. Inspired by Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles and the short story "The Martian", this play follows Cora and Max, grieving mothers to their little daughter Cece, as they intersect with Detective Roxy Cruz's search for missing teenager Kayla. Directed by Delia Mejia, this piece is presented in association with Riot's mission to make accessible art for marginalized, historically underserved communities and is free of charge.

Premiering at the newly renovated City Heights Performance Annex in association with City of San Diego libraries and the City Heights/Weingart Branch Library.
