Dust

Set within the suffocating walls of a failing London bookshop, Dust is a sharp psychological drama that tracks fractured relationships and a malleable past. Over the course of one rain-soaked evening, the characters grapple with the economic and emotional toll of keeping the past alive. Their memories begin to conflict and unhealed wounds are exposed.

Directed by Isis Clunie (Young and Foolish  (short film) - director; Every Time I See a Yellow Car (short film) - choreographer; The Shivers (Polka Theatre, New Diorama) - performer) and written by Oliver Judd as his debut play, this moving production is about books, friendship, loneliness, stagnation and rot. Moving fluidly between the past and the present, Dust asks what remains when truth becomes subjective, relationships are interrogated, and the dust finally begins to settle.
