Taking place over three relaxed Saturday mornings at Chiddingfold Village Hall, this comprehensive course combines evidence-based antenatal education with practical Hypnobirthing tools for both you and your birth partner.

You’ll understand what actually happens in your body during labour, learn practical ways to stay calm and comfortable, explore your birth choices and build a whole toolkit you can use when the big day arrives.

Whether this is your first baby or your next, the aim is simple: for both of you to leave feeling informed, confident and genuinely prepared for birth.

Course dates

Session 1 – Saturday 6th February, 10am–1pm
Session 2 – Saturday 13th February, 10am–1pm
Session 3 – Saturday 20th February, 10am–1pm

Your booking covers you and your birth partner for all three sessions.

What will we cover?

There's a lot more to Rise & Glow than breathing techniques.

You'll learn:

• how labour actually works and what supports your birth hormones
• practical breathing and relaxation techniques
• ways to make contractions feel more manageable
• massage, touch, acupressure and other physical comfort tools
• birth positions and movement
• water birth and how your environment can affect labour
• confident decision-making and flexible birth planning
• what to expect if induction, epidural or caesarean birth becomes part of your journey
• practical ways to reduce fear and feel more in control
• exactly how your birth partner can help throughout labour and birth

By the end of the course, you'll understand your body and your options so much better – and you'll both have plenty of practical things you can actually do when labour begins.

A proper antenatal course – not just relaxation

Rise & Glow combines Hypnobirthing with comprehensive antenatal education, so you'll prepare for much more than one particular vision of birth.

We'll talk openly and realistically about physiological birth, water birth, induction, epidurals, caesareans and what happens when plans change.

The goal is for you to feel informed, involved and confident in your decisions, whatever direction your own birth takes.

Birth partners are a huge part of the course too. They'll leave knowing how to help you relax, make you more comfortable, support your birth environment and play an active role in decisions.

Meet Becca, your local Hypnobirthing teacher

Your course will be taught by Becca, a mum and Rise & Glow Hypnobirthing teacher who lives locally in Chiddingfold.

Becca's own pregnancy was mentally challenging and her son's birth was physically difficult. It took time afterwards to process how she felt about the experience, but it also sparked a huge interest in pregnancy, birth and postnatal care.

As friends around her began having babies, she found herself wanting to learn everything she could to help them approach birth feeling more prepared and supported.

Then she discovered Hypnobirthing.

Learning about the physiology of labour, the relationship between the mind and body, and the evidence behind practical Hypnobirthing techniques felt like a switch had been flicked.

That experience inspired Becca to train as a Hypnobirthing teacher herself, with one clear aim: to help other expectant parents approach birth with more knowledge, less fear and a practical toolkit they can rely on.

Hypnobirthing for Godalming, Haslemere & surrounding villages

Becca's group hypnobirthing classes are based in Chiddingfold, ideally positioned between Godalming and Haslemere.

The course is particularly convenient for families travelling from Godalming, Milford, Witley, Chiddingfold, Haslemere and surrounding south-west Surrey villages.

Chiddingfold Village Hall gives us a relaxed local setting away from the bustle of the larger towns, while still being easy to reach from both the Godalming and Haslemere directions.

Becca also offers private 1:1 Hypnobirthing at home across the local area if group dates don't suit you.

Preparing for birth locally

Families joining Becca's courses may be receiving their maternity care through Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, including appointments through the Godalming or Haslemere maternity hubs.

Some families further west may instead be planning to give birth at Frimley Park Hospital, including its Mulberry Birth Centre.

Wherever you're planning to have your baby, everything you learn on the course is designed to help you understand your options and feel more confident navigating your own maternity care.

The relaxed village setting is perfect for our small-group courses, with plenty of space for discussion, practising techniques and asking all the questions that crop up along the way.
