Description
Our Bexley Group Hypnobirthing course is run over three sessions on Wednesday evenings 6:30pm - 9:30pm, starting on Weds 29th November 2023 in our North Cray venue in Bexley / Sidcup.
Get confident and prepared for your baby's birth! Learn the amazing physiology of what actually happens in your body during labour, and understand how to maximise your body's natural birthing power for an easier, faster birth. In our classes, you and your birth partner will gain a tonne of practical tools & techniques that will help you to have an amazing positive birth!
This is a comprehensive antenatal education course in birth preparation - you don't need any other antenatal class!
Learn amazing tools & knowledge such as...
- How to confidently manage your contractions like a pro!
- Practical ways to quickly and deeply relax during pregnancy and birth
- What your body is actually doing during labour (this part will blow your mind!) and how to optimise your own birthing power during each stage of labour
- How to avoid Tearing
- How your Birth Partner will be the most important person in the room with you, and how to approach birth as a TEAM!
I guarantee this will be a highlight of your pregnancy; you and your birth partner will come away from each class smiling and excited about birth, and potentially with some new mama (and papa!) friends too!
This course will truly transform your pregnancy by giving you the knowledge and practical tools you need for a positive birth. By the end of the course you will be feeling calm, confident and even excited about giving birth!

Session 1: Weds 29th November
- The science of what your body ACTUALLY does during labour
- The different stages of birth
- Mind over matter: managing pain in labour
- Using natural hypnosis for birth
- Breathing techniques for labour
Session 2: Weds 6th December
- Massage techniques for labour
- Acupressure and aromatherapy for labour
- How to write your Birth Plan
- Birth Partner tools
- Hypnobirthing for Caesarean births
Session 3: Weds 13th December
- Birth positions for an easier birth
- Waterbirths and their benefits for mum and baby
- Confident decision making: How to have a positive induction
- How to “breathe your baby out”
- How to avoid tearing during birth
As you can see, there's loads of amazing stuff to get through!! We do however make time for a break or two during each class so you can enjoy a cuppa and some cake while getting to know each other.
In order to keep the classes small and intimate, spaces are limited so book early to secure your place!
