Need help?
For the second day of Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport week we’ll look forward to speaking with parents/ carers about how you can play your part in keeping your child safe in sport. If you are a parent/carer of a child involved in any sport – this is the perfect workshop for you!
Parents/carers are a vital part of any sports club and especially the role you play in keeping your child safe in that sport. We’ll discuss ways in how you can raise your awareness of safeguarding and welfare and share some top tips for supporting your child at their club – including sharing with you the CPSU’s new guide for how to have supportive conversations with your child about sport.
We’ll also let you know about the fantastic things happening throughout the week from virtual events in a range of welfare topics with industry experts, to podcasts, and we’ll share handy resources to support you as a sports parent/ carer.
This is a FREE virtual event and please click ‘SELECT TICKETS’ to register your place. You will be sent the online link ahead of the session.
This event has been organised as part of the support offer for sports clubs and organisations through the Sport Welfare Officer network as part of the CPSU’s campaign Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport Week 2025.
