As part of Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport week, we’ve linked up with Jo from Newcastle City Council’s Community Safety and Resilience Team to speak with parents/ carers about incel culture. This is a quickly growing area referenced in the recent drama Adolescence.

Jo will explain what is meant by ‘incel culture’ and further your understanding of this online subculture. We’ll discuss symbols used by online communities, the manosphere, online influence and how you can have conversations with young people about this.

This is a FREE virtual event and please click ‘SELECT TICKETS’ to register your place. You will be sent the online link ahead of the session.

This event has been organised as part of the support offer for sports clubs and organisations through the Sport Welfare Officer network as part of the CPSU’s campaign Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport Week 2025.
