Safeguarding Adults in Sport workshop

We’re so pleased to invite you to a Safeguarding Adults in Sport workshop for sports clubs in Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and Durham during Safeguarding Adults Week.

The workshop is being delivered by the Newcastle Safeguarding Adults Board with support from the Safeguarding Adults teams in North Tyneside, Northumberland, Durham, Gateshead and South Tyneside.

This is a great opportunity to increase your awareness of how to keep adults safe in your sports club, the signs to look out for if someone may be at risk of abuse, and what to do if you have any concerns. We’ll also give you some really useful resources that can be taken back to your club.

The workshop will be informal with lots of opportunities for discussion and questions - and refreshments too!
