We’re pleased to be working with Swim England North East to offer you free active bystander training to support you to create safer and more inclusive cultures at your clubs.
This online training led by the North East Sport Welfare team will support you to recognise unwelcome behaviour in your club and equip you with the skills in how to do something about this safely. This workshop has been specifically designed for aquatics clubs and will provide you with a safe space to discuss challenges and find solutions.
The workshop will cover:
- What is meant by being an Active Bystander
- How to recognise unwanted behaviour
- How to do something about this in a safe way
The workshop is aimed at Club Welfare Officers and anyone in a coaching or voluntary club role is welcome to attend.
This is a FREE event and please click ‘SELECT TICKETS’ to register your place. You will be sent the link for Teams ahead of the event in a separate email.
