Active Bystander Training
Join us for our Active Bystander Training! This in-person training led by the North East Sport Welfare team will support you to recognise unwelcome behaviour in your club and equip you with the skills in how to do something about this safely. This workshop has been specifically designed for sports clubs and will provide you with a safe space to discuss challenges and find solutions.
The workshop will cover:
- What is meant by being an Active Bystander
- How to recognise unwanted behaviour
- How to do something about this in a safe way
The workshop is aimed at Club Welfare Officers / Safeguarding Leads/Club Volunteers/Physical Activity Providers or anyone from your club or organisation who wishes to take a lead role in helping develop a safe, inclusive culture in their Sports club or organisation.
