FREE Step Outdoors Stay & Play Taster Session for Byker families!

Our Step Outdoors programme gives local families opportunities to enjoy nature-based play together. The sessions support young children to build independence, confidence, problem-solving abilities and healthy, active habits all while having fun and enjoying the outdoors.

Join us for a one-off taster session on Wednesday 23^rd September 2026, from 10:00–11:30 at Byker Sands Family Hub.

Important information:

Our step outdoors sessions are child led, messy play style sessions, giving space and time for children and their families to play outside together, supporting bonding, learning and development.

Venue: Byker Sands Family Hub, 19 Raby Cross, Byker, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 2FF.
