Join us for a session on counting the Omer as a creative practice. D’vorah Horn is in her 14th year of painting on the Omer and guiding others in their creative work. D’vorah will explain how to pair counting the Omer with an intentional expressive practice, and how to use her Omer decks to do so. She will also cover how to use this year’s deck which incorporates bird wisdom and guidance.
This session will be recorded and made available to registrants after the event.
D’vorah Horn is a life-long studio artist, with university-level training in painting, drawing and sculpture. In 2014 she founded Mending Spirit: Art For Healing, a non-profit organization that brings art, artists and art making into challenging environments. D’vorah holds degrees in philosophy of education and political theory, as well as Masters degrees in human development (MSW), early childhood development, elementary education and Montessori education (M.Ed). She has spent the last 13 years consulting with and mentoring schools, families, teachers and institutions.
