The Nature of God Conference

Join us for our first annual Christian inspired agriculture gathering where we explore biblical principles of land stewardship and work toward restoring our true identities as co-creators with the Divine.

Hear from pioneers in regenerative agriculture who see the earth as a sacred element gifted to us from God, with the ever present invitation to be in union with an unseen spiritual realm that works on your behalf. We will structure the day with a combination of prayer, presentations on deepening your intimacy with a loving God of abundance, and conversations of stewardship wisdom observed by our Christian forebears. The goal of this conference is to receive inspiration from the Holy Spirit, to grow in our own relationship with both nature and Jesus, and to find useful and practical ways to celebrate and honor the earth through biblical and mystical Christian principles.

CONFERENCE SPEAKERS

Gregory Christian Porter

Gregory is a father, writer, entrepreneur, political activist, and aspiring farmer who loves the Lord. After an ambitious attempt to restore medical liberty, parental consent, and privacy at the Texas State legislature, Gregory realized that the only path to restore liberty and natural law is through the inner work of healing the illusions of separation, scarcity, and unworthiness, cultivating intimacy with God, and building the world we want for our children. Through the reflections of nature and Christ, Gregory believes we are called to heal, to Love, and to build God’s Kingdom. Beyond deepening his spiritual faith, Gregory is inspired to build values-based community, expand regenerative systems of agriculture and natural wellness, and restore a condition of localization to reclaim sovereignty for our families and community.

Ray Rodgers

Ray grew up in Amarillo in a vibrant community of farmers and small business owners. “Farm to table” was the way of life, not a novel concept. Dependence upon God was modeled beautifully throughout his upbringing and this way of life shaped a lot of his values and pursuits. After UT business school, Ray went to Dallas where he began his now 48 year career in commercial real estate and private investing (through a Christian lens), which he continues today (retirement isn't his thing). He met his lovely bride, Stacy there and together they began their family with the dream of one day raising them on a small organic farm which they did in 1991 after moving to Fredericksburg, TX with their three children Emily, Ben and Molly. While the original idea was to operate a small organic vegetable farm to supply local restaurants and grocery stores, God had another assignment. While they kept their passion for cultivating plants and a few beef cattle, they were also called to cultivate Christian-schools and small businesses in Central Texas. The farm became a place of restoration to a worldwide variety of people over the years. As God‘s children, He has blessed all of us with this intricate connection between spiritual health, personal health, family health, community health, land health.

Matthew Fleener

Matthew Fleener is a singer, songwriter, organic farmer, and teacher with a deep commitment to regenerative living and faith-centered community. Mentored under Cliff Davis of Pig & Leaf and Spiral Ridge Permaculture, he earned certifications in Regenerative Earthworks, Permaculture, and Agroforestry. Along with his wife, Matthew runs and operates Happy Cactus, a small organic farm CSA with three core pillars:
- Sustainable, human-scale farming rooted in ancient traditions and cultures.
- Detoxing from the chemical and cultural poisons of modern life.
- Living out the Christian faith in authentic community.
With more than 15 years of hands-on experience — including both notable successes and hard-earned failures — Matthew has practiced regenerative and organic methods across two distinct North American biomes.

Katie Collins

Katie Collins found regenerative agriculture through her own health journey. After years as a vegetarian, she began eating meat again and saw her health change in more ways than she expected. That sent her looking for a way of eating meat that more closely aligned with her values about food, animals, land, and nature. She found it, and then built it. In 2013, she and her husband, Taylor, founded EPIC, where she gained firsthand experience in what the modern food system looks like and what it takes to build a better one. In 2017, they founded Roam Ranch in Fredericksburg Texas, now one of the largest grass-fed bison operations in the state, and a working educational model for soil health and ecosystem function. When not wrangling bison, Katie is  most often found exploring, reading, and breathing in the Holy Spirit with her daughters, Scout and Wren.

Taylor Collins

Taylor Collins is a land steward, bison wrangler, and regenerative entrepreneur inspired by the wisdom of Nature and the abundance of God. Along with his wife, Taylor is a co-founder of Force of Nature Meats and ROAM Ranch. Both businesses focus on reimagining supply chain frameworks that measure positive outcomes across soil health, animal welfare, and nutrient density. Through ranching, Taylor is frequently exploring the intersection of spirit and matter, heaven and earth, and the thin veil the separates seen and unseen realms that impact our reality. A passionate educator, Taylor often leads community tours focused on connecting consumers back to the land systems that serve as the foundation of our civilization. In his free time, Taylor enjoys trail running, hiking, sacred hunting, and loving on his family.
