One Man Ferryman

The Ferryman is a 2017 play by Jez Butterworth. It won the Olivier, Tony, Evening Standard, Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Play. It was widely regarded as an "important" piece of modern theatre. I have never seen it.

Synopsis: The year is 1981. You have been invited to Brian D’arcy James’ highly realistic Irish farm house. He has a secret to tell you.. a secretive secret... about the Ferry... and the man who drives it…
