Painting Birch Trees: A Two-Hour Palette-Knife Techniques Class

Expand your palette-knife skills by learning to paint birch trees!

Rob will give a short demonstration and then assist students in painting a small study of birch trees using one of these source photos or a birch-tree image of their own.

• The fee is $50.
• Bring a small canvas (11x14 or 12x16).
• Bring at least one palette knife and your oil paints. (Supplies list may be purchased separately at the time of checkout.)
• Come with your canvas toned with an acrylic color of your choice, for example burnt sienna or any orange-brown. (Those purchasing the supplies kit will receive a toned canvas with their other supplies.)
• Feel free to bring finger food and/or drinks.
