Alpine Ski on Crested Butte Mountain Resort- 2/6

Join us for an afternoon of skiing with RMBL docents and educators at Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR)! Learn how geology and snowpack trends shape Crested Butte as a premier ski destination — and how spring runoff transforms the mountain into a wildflower paradise. The group will explore intermediate “blue” terrain off the Paradise, Painter Boy, and Red Lady lifts. Participants should be comfortable skiing on their own without an instructor.

Meet at RMBL 365 (formerly the Crested Butte Hostel) at 1:00 PM to catch the 1:15 PM bus to the mountain. You may also meet the group on the mountain in front of Adaptive Sports at 1:45 PM. 

We’ll finish the guided portion of the tour around 3:30 PM. Afterward, participants are welcome to continue skiing or join the group back at RMBL 365 for a beverage and some social time.

No charge for tour, must provide your own CBMR lift ticket and gear. 

2-hour intermediate ski tour with après snacks provided. This is a guided tour, and all participants should be able to ski intermediate terrain independently.
