Join us for an evening of stories by some of our premier local storytellers.

Cooper Braun

Featured Storyteller Cooper Braun reminds us that fairy tales can be anything but dry. He has won some awards and hosts the best attended virtual storytelling program in the world. At his core Cooper is what happens when you don't let your children watch television or eat refined sugar (parents take heed).

Marianne Balin

Marianne Balin tells stories to about 100 3rd graders a month and to whoever else will listen. She’s a Spellbinder Storytelling Trainer with the St. Vrain Valley Storytellers where she serves as a board member and past president. Marianne loves the magic that storytelling brings to tellers and to listeners.

Laura Deal

Laura Deal is a Spellbinder volunteer, and her professional storytelling career has brought her to festivals across the United States, in person and online. Recordings of her work have appeared on podcasts and radio shows. She is the 2024 recipient of the J.J. Reneaux Emerging Artist Award. Laura will also be presenting a storytelling masterclass on Sunday, May 5th. Learn more here.

Kathleen Santopietro

Storytelling “happened” to Kathleen Santopietro 30 years ago via her career as an award-winning adult educator. She appreciates applied storytelling in areas of health, spirituality, community, and lifelong learning. As a traditional storyteller she engages adult listeners with a unique style.
