RMSM #156 - Dinner, Drinks, Groovebox Invasion at Clancy's Irish Pub

Join us at Clancy's Irish Pub in Wheat Ridge for dinner & drinks followed by some rapid-fire single-machine groovebox performances by RMSM.

Schedule

• 7:00-8:30 PM - DINNER, DRINKS, & CONVERSATION in the upstairs back dining room with separate checks (or group up to help your server). Use entrance on the back side of restaurant. Check out menus here https://clancysirish.pub.
  
  
• 8:30-10:30 PM - GROOVEBOX INVASION PERFORMANCES. We'll adjourn to the basement space for electronic music performances, drinks, and mingling. A featured lineup of Rocky Mountain Synth Members will perform back-to-back sets.
  
  Each set will be up to 7 minutes long using single-machine groovebox or small rigs.
  
  Performers use compact rigs that can be set up and broken down in one minute, including Elektron machines, Synthstrom Deluge, Push 3 Standalone, Akai MPC, iPad, mobile phones, OXI One Sequencer with small Eurorack cases, and 1010 Music instruments.
  
  

Venue

We're happy to report we'll be returning to a RMSM member favorite, Clancy's Irish Pub in Wheat Ridge.

Clancy's is Colorado's oldest and longest-running Irish Pub, serving the greater Wheat Ridge and Denver communities.

Clancy's has a great traditional pub feel upstairs with a separate stage and bar down a set of stairs in the basement—perfect for performances. They offer a full pub menu with a "from-scratch" kitchen, along with a bar and variety of beers. They're offering us the room for free in exchange for you coming hungry and thirsty :^)
