The Boys in the Band by Mart Crowley

The Boys in the Band tells the story of Michael, a New Yorker who invites a handful of hs gay friends to a birthday party he is hosting for his friend Harold. Laughs are had, the insults fly and a party game brings skeletons out of everyone's closet.

POW! in the Park in association with the City of Wilton Manors, The Warten Foundation proudly present a free production of The Boys in the Band in Richardson Park! 

* If you buy a ticket to Torch Song and to Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays you will receive Priority Access to register for a ticket to Boys in the Band playing at Richardson Park. Priority Access gives you a two week window to reserve your ticket to our free production of Boys in the Band before ticketing is open to the general public. You are guaranteed a ticket. You still have to RSVP 24 hours before the show but you won't have to be on our website at 10am on days we release tickets trying to get a ticket. Boys in the Band only has 60 tickets available per performance and we fully expect it will sell-out.

Ticket holders will receive an RSVP link via email the day before the performance. You must respond to this link to confirm your attendance and hold your tickets. Please arrive at the park at least 20 minutes prior to showtime. Seating is extremely limited.

TICKET HOLDERS: Free events have a very high rate of no-shows, all ticket holders must RSVP using the link that will be emailed 1 day prior to the performance, or your tickets will be passed to someone on our waiting list. Ticket holders must also be in the park 20 minutes prior to showtime or your tickets will be cancelled.

PARKING AT RICHARDSON PARK: You may park in the lot at Richardson Park which is paid parking, on the street or at City Hall a few blocks away. If you are local we suggest walking, Uber, carpooling, rideshare or Circuit.
