Our founder spent years working at the heart of one of the world's most celebrated Christmas attractions in Finland, the home of Father Christmas. He saw what happened when a team refused to cut corners and treated every part of the visitor journey as essential. The result was not simply something festive, but an immersive Christmas experience that felt real from the moment families arrived.
He also saw how rare that level of care had become.
The Reindeer Railway was created from a simple belief: families deserve a Christmas experience in Essex that respects their time, their money and their belief that Christmas can still feel extraordinary.
That is why the journey begins on board. Rather than waiting in a temporary room or walking straight into a grotto, families step into a carefully designed Christmas train experience that introduces them to the world of The Reindeer Railway.
It is not a recreation of a film or a marquee dressed for the season. It is a complete festive attraction, built with purpose and designed to stay with families long after they leave.
That is what we set out to create. That is what you are stepping into.
A Standard ticket includes entry to The Reindeer Railway experience, including the magical train journey, access to The North Pole, the Christmas Village, The Reindeer Lift, Santa’s Grotto and the Christmas Market.
all guests attending The Reindeer Railway will need a valid ticket. This includes adults and children, as each person forms part of the experience and must be included within the booked time slot.
There are no carers tickets!!!
It’s definitely something we’re looking at working towards for future years.
As this is our very first year, our biggest priority has been keeping the ticket prices as low and accessible as possible so that as many families as possible can experience the magic without it costing a fortune.
That’s why, for this year, we’ve kept the ticket prices as two separate prices rather than adding additional discounts, as unfortunately that would mean we’d have to increase the overall ticket price.
We’re absolutely looking at carer tickets and more accessibility options for future years, including ways we can continue improving the experience for families with additional needs, and it’s something that’s really important to us.
We’re pleased to say that our Christmas experience is wheelchair accessible, and we want to make sure everyone can enjoy the magic with us this Christmas.
Christmas magic should be for everyone.
Prices
Children under 1 are very welcome to attend, but they must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap or be held during the train journey. Unfortunately, children under 1 will not receive a gift from Santa.
Child tickets aged 1-12 £36.00 plus booking fee
Adult 12 years plus £28.80 plus booking fee
tickets are non refundable
If you have a young adult who is over 12 years old but you would still like them to have a present from Santa please book them as a child not a adult
