Face Painting Workshop & Volunteer Opportunity

Are you ready to learn a fun new skill and make a real difference in your community? Rooted Arts, in partnership with The Ermine Exchange, is incredibly excited to invite you to our unique, two-part Face Painting Volunteer Opportunity!

This is a fantastic opportunity to get creative, learn from an industry expert, and immediately put your new skills to use by bringing joy to local families.

By booking this ticket, you are committing to both dates below - learning the craft on Monday 6th July and volunteering at a major community event two weeks later!

The Schedule & Commitment

Please ensure you are available for both of the following dates before booking:

• Part 1: The Workshop
  • Date: Monday 6th July
  • Time: 9.30am - 3pm
  • A hands-on, beginner-friendly training session. Our expert will guide you step-by-step through simple, high-impact designs (think superheroes, butterflies, and festive sparkles).
• Part 2: The Volunteering
  • Date: Saturday 18th July
  • Time: 12.30 - 4pm
  • What: Put your brand-new skills into action! You'll join the Rooted Arts team to volunteer at our face painting booth during the Ermine Fun Day.

Everything you need is provided! Just bring your enthusiasm - we'll supply the rest.

• Expert Guidance: Learn the tips, tricks, and safety/hygiene from a professional face painter.
• Simple, Replicable Designs: Master 3 to 4 crowd-pleasing designs that kids love.
• Premium Materials: Full access to high-quality, skin-safe professional paints, brushes, and sponges during both the workshop and the event.

Who is this for?

Absolutely everyone! No prior artistic experience or face painting background is required. Whether you want to boost your confidence, add a skill to your CV, or just give back to the Ermine community, you are very welcome here. You will need to be aged 16+.

Spaces are strictly limited.

Please note: As this is a volunteer-led project, booking a space represents a commitment to attend both the training and the Ermine Fun Day. If your plans change, please cancel your ticket early so someone else can take your spot!
