Come out to connect with nature in a creative way! Root in Nature is hosting two free sessions at Vincent Massey Park. We will be engaging in therapeutic horticulture, the purposeful use of plants and plant-related activities to promote health and wellness for an individual or group. Sessions are run by Horticultural Therapy Practitioner Andrea Butt and Myriah Graham.

Sessions will include:

• Sensory experiences and active listening
• Creative exercises and activities such as:
  • planting microgreens (16th)
  • flower pressing (16th)
  • nature self-portraits (18th)
  • nature mandalas & weaving (18th)
