PLAYGLOW — Shibari Play Party

PlayGlow is our 2026 monthly signature play night.
A neon-lit rope play party for people who are in love with Kinbaku / Shibari and want a community led safe space, to connect, flirt, and play. It’s a party night: music, movement, open rope play, and playful energy  ✨

What to expect

  • Welcome + consent & safety briefing (mandatory)
  • Optional warm-up prompts to break the ice
  • Open rope play with a party vibe (you choose your pace)
  • Tea, coffee, and good humans

Who it’s for

  • All levels: beginners to experienced rope lovers
  • Solo attendees welcome (come open to meeting new people)
  • Friends and couples welcome
  • All identities and relationship styles welcome — as long as you respect the vibe and the rules

Rope-first play (the vibe of the night)

Play is welcome at PlayGlow — sensual, erotic, kinky energy included — as long as rope is part of the scene.
This is a rope-led night: tying, rope handling, rope sensation, rope structure and rope dynamics stay at the centre.

Everything happens in a shared studio space, so we keep play consensual, mindful, and respectful of the room.
If you’re unsure whether something fits, ask a host.

What’s permitted (with consent + negotiation)

These are allowed when rope is involved, clearly negotiated, and practiced safely:

  • Impact play (hands, paddles, floggers, etc.)
  • Electric play (experienced players only — negotiate clearly and use responsibly)
  • Role play / power dynamics (consensual, no intimidation of bystanders)
  • Clean wax play (see rules below)
  • Toys and touch as supportive elements to a rope-led scene

Sexual activity policy

There will be a play only space where rope and full play is allowed.
Non-penetrative sensual play is welcome in the rest of the space
when it remains rope-led, and Enthusiastically consensual.

Wax rules (clean + respectful)

Wax is permitted only if it’s clean and controlled:

  • Drip-only (no messy pooling)
  • Use a towel / barrier under the body
  • Keep it contained + easy to clean
  • You must clean fully after your scene
(If it risks mess on shared surfaces, it’s a no.)

Hard limits (not allowed)

  • Needle play
  • Blood / cutting
  • Scat
  • Watersports
  • Drugs

Consent + care (non-negotiable)

  • “No” means "No", no explanations needed.
  • Ask first. Negotiate clearly (touch, intensity, tools, photos, aftercare).
  • Anyone can pause/stop play at any time.
  • Photos only allowed with explicit consent from everyone in the frame.
  • Any discrimination, harassment, coercion, or unsafe behaviour = removal.

Inclusivity

This is an LGBTQI / FLINTA / QUEER / POC all-identities friendly event.
Come as you are and treat others with respect.

PLAYGLOW — Dress Code (Fetish • Fantasy • Glow)

Playglow is not a “going-out in normal clothes” party.
Make yourself so hot that everyone wants to play with you, dress and undress to impress.
Come dressed to play: kinky, bold, theatrical, glittering, or beautifully strange.
If you look like you’re heading to a pub/club in regular outfits, you may be turned away.

✅ YES PLEASE (what works)

Pick one or mix several:

Fetish / Kink

  • Latex / PVC / vinyl / patent

  • Leather / harnesses / collars

  • Lingerie, fetish lingerie, bodysuits

  • Straps, chains, cuffs, corsets, garters

  • Sensual “minimal” looks when intentional (e.g., harness + lingerie + boots)

Glam / Cabaret / Carnival

  • Glitter, sequins, metallics

  • Cabaret / burlesque / showgirl vibes

  • Masks, headpieces, feathers, dramatic make-up

  • Elegant eveningwear with an edge (sheer, cut-outs, fetish styling, bold accessories)

Fantasy / Costume / “Unusual”

  • Costume looks (cyber, gothic, angel/demon, fetish clown, circus, sci-fi, etc.)

  • Gender-play, drag, theatrical character looks

  • Anything colourful, strange, expressive, or artful

GLOW (highly encouraged)

  • Neon / UV reactive fabrics

  • LED accessories, EL wire, glowing jewellery

  • Body paint, fluorescent make-up, reflective pieces

Footwear (Shoeless party)
The studio floor is soft  you 'll leave oyur shoes at the entrance

🚫 NOT OK (what will get you refused)

  • Streetwear / regular club wear (you know the vibe: basic top + jeans)

  • Jeans / denim

  • Sportswear (tracksuits, gym gear)

  • Trainers / running shoes

  • Basic underwear-as-an-outfit (plain everyday bra/boxers with no styling)

  • Casual basics: hoodies, everyday t-shirts, “I didn’t try” looks

  • Anything hateful, unsafe, or non-consensual in messaging (no racist/violent symbols)

Quick “am I good?” checklist

If your outfit says fetish / fantasy / cabaret / glow at first glance, you’re good.
If it says “normal Saturday night”, upgrade it.

Easy upgrades: harness, latex element, glitter/metallic layer, mask, boots, neon accessory, dramatic make-up.
