What is Kinship?

Kinship is a coworking and community hub built for anyone working in or around the fashion industry. That includes graphic designers, marketers, photographers, writers, stylists, brand consultants, and more. Their dedication to curating a space where people can connect, grow, and inspire each other makes it the perfect homebase for the community of fashion lovers we're building at RCFD.

We’re excited to feature designs by Emily of Studio SCS (https://www.saintclairsscissors.com/). Studio SCS creates luxury fashion pieces by repurposing vintage and antique textiles—each garment one-of-a-kind, crafted as an heirloom to live beautifully in modern wardrobes. Model Rachel will pose in two looks from the collection. Expect rich textures, graceful silhouettes, and an inspiring mood that’s equal parts modern and nostalgic.

What to Expect at the Event

• A 2‑hour uninstructed fashion figure drawing session (think creative hangout, rather than drawing workshop)
• A live model showcasing designs by Studio SCS
• Basic drawing materials (paper, pens, pencils) provided—feel free to bring your favorites too!
• Cozy vibes in a welcoming space made for fashion lovers
