Meet the Farmer - Meet Rhodri Davies of Rosedew Farm who has been farming the land in Llantwit Major for 30 years. Rhodri rears cattle and sheep on the farm as well as multiple arable crops. In 2011 Rhodri and Gaynor founded Farmers Pantry Butcher in Llantwit Major which now has 6 butchers shops across South Wales. Join Rhodri as he tells us about the sustainable farming practices here at Rosedew Farm.

Steak Showdown - Local Butchery from Farmers Pantry. Meet Dawie Beyers, Operations Manager at Farmers Pantry Butchers. Dawie has a passion for providing excellent produce to the people of the Vale and also for Braai. Join us as Dawie introduces us to the the range of steak available and a discussion of the merits of each cut. Dawie will show us how he cooks these steaks and offer small tasters (weather dependant).

Neil Airey, our chef at Acorn cafe has put together a mouthwatering ‘Vale Food Trail’ menu, featuring Farmers Pantry produce from a juicy steak, to a burger or maybe a pie (menu to be confirmed). Meals can be ordered and paid for on the day.
