Clio Duo - Adventures in the Sound World of Viola, Recorder & Piano

Two rising stars of the current generation Inis Oírr Asano (viola and recorder) and Alexia Eleftheriadou (piano) benefitting from Inis Oírr Asano’s tremendous skill on both instruments - recorder and viola allow us to enter a new concert sound world.

The amazing female composer of the early 20th century Rebecca Clarke’s Viola Sonata masterpiece anchors this superb and daring 20th century programme of music by Benjamin Britten, Frank Bridge, York Bowen, Gordon Jacob of music for recorder, viola with piano George King a young and rising composer provides a 21st century pinch of the new.
