Howard Shelley OBE and Friends play Haydn, Mozart and Schumann

Howard Shelley OBE, a Classic FM and Steinway Artist, conductor, and recording artist has enjoyed a distinguished career, performing worldwide at major venues with renowned orchestras. He is joined in this launch concert of Roseland Music Society’s by five professional musician friends Jackie Shave violin (former leader of the Britten Sinfonia), Cathy Shave (leader of English Touring Opera orchestra), Michael Posner (viola) and Julia Desbruslais cello.

Haydn’s Piano Concerto in D major, Mozart's Piano Concerto in A major, K.414, Schumann: Piano Quintet in E-flat major, Op. 44, widely considered one of the greatest chamber works of the Romantic era.

The new Grand Piano will make its first appearance in St Mawes
